Paljari is the name of an old estate, and also the name of an area within the municipality of Vižinada. This old stone house was rebuilt in 2011. During construction, special attention was paid to health, environmental and energy issues. On these very ideas the concept of the whole house relies and these ideas are reflected in each of its rooms. The building materials had to meet all aspects relevant for health, energy efficiency and ecology. Thus, for the insulation of the house natural materials such as wood and sheep wool were used. The energy efficiency concept is based on energy savings and Villa Paljari meets the requirements for the low energy buildings – Class B. Great attention has been paid to ecology, and thus the hot water and heating are provided using exclusively solar energy and wood. When building the house anew, the original materials from the old house such as wooden beams, stone and bricks were used. The interior materials of Villa Paljari exclusively include ceramic tiles and oak flooring. The combination of good insulation and natural materials ensures pleasant temperature throughout the house.
